Alarms and Vehicle Security

AutoSound & Security is the branch of the AutoElectrical Centre that deals with Vehicle Security

AutoSound & Security were the first in Merseyside to be accredited by the VSIB for the Installation of Vehicle Alarms and Immobilisers

All of our Installations comply with VSIB Standards and we are checked out by the VSIB, each year for compliance! Please do bear in mind that it is only a VSIB Approved Organisation that can fit Insurance Approved Systems. Your Insurance could be invalid if you do not choose a VSIB Approved Installer!

Before you purchase from us, you need to tell us what type of system you want. Sometimes, your vehicle insurer might insist on an Insurance Approved Alarm System.Alternatively, you may just want a good system, tailored to your requirements. We need to know which is applicable, since there is a cost difference!

Listed Below are typical features and options on a system fitted by us:

Remote Control

When you alight from your vehicle, close all of the doors, bonnet and boot and press the keyfob which is supplied with the system. The Vehicle is now armed

Perimeter Protection

When your alarm is set and the door, bonnet or boot is opened or forced, the alarm is activated

Ultrasonic Protection

This is a protection for the interior of the vehicle. When your alarm is set then the vehicle interior is protedted. Should an intruder force entry through a window, say t reach in for a hand bag, the alarm is activated

Vibration Detection

When your alarm is set and an intruder is attempting entry through a window or door the vibration system can activate the alarm

Remote Central Locking

When you alight from your vehicle, close all of the doors, bonnet and boot and press the keyfob which is supplied with the system. The Vehicle locking system is set. Your vehicle is now locked and armed

Immobiliser

You may wish to have an Immobiliser fitted as one of your options. When you alight from your vehicle, close all of the doors, bonnet and boot and press the keyfob which is supplied with the system. The Vehicle locking system is set. Your vehicle is now locked, Immobilised and armed. In the event your vehicle alarm is broached, the Immobiliser is another major barrier which the thief has to overcome to get the engine engine started
